2nd May 2008 - SES #21 is now out, with a wraparound full colour cover. You can see some more of Jim McGee's Square Eyed Scribbles, and Arthur Goodman would like you to listen to a word from our Marketing Dept. You can buy a copy from the Zip Gun Comics table at Comic Expo in Bristol, or order online.

28th August 2007 - The Banana Brothers take a walk in Nature. There are only a few copies of SES #18 left, if you don't already have one.

2nd May 2007 - SES #20 is out, in our 10th year. It sports a glorious full colour cover, and among the many sights to behold within are David Goodman's Bancho, and some of Jim McGee's Square Eyed Scribbles. If you're going to the Comic Expo in Bristol, you can buy a copy from the Zip Gun Comics table, or you can order online. We also have a page at ComicSpace.

13th January 2007 - Gave the site a redesign; if you find any errors, let the webmaster know, please? There's also a new strip, where Jim McGee tells us that Bar-Fly Does Things Again, and an old strip from SES #14: Phone, by Arthur Goodman.

4th May 2006 - SES#19 is now available; the cover is here. Inside, Jim McGee tells us how Bar-Fly Begins, while Arthur Goodman shouts "Look Out! It's A Zombie Samurai!". Plus a whole lot more - you can buy a copy here. You can still order copies of SES #17 and SES #18.

7th July 2005 - From SES #15, Arthur Goodman introduces you to My Japanese Girlfriend, while Jim McGee reveals the final fate of Bad Attitude Boy in The End is Nigh Part 2. SES #16 sold out at Comics Expo in May, you can still get copies of SES #17 and #18.

1st May 2005 - SES#18 is out; you can see the cover here, and order a copy here. By way of a taster, Arthur Goodman brings you "I Want Engrish Boyfriend!", while Jim McGee gives us the story of Bar-Fly Baggins, and a new Banana Brothers strip: Sword. Back issues of SES #17 and SES #16 are still available.

23rd January 2005 - A web only strip, by Jim McGee: Bar-Fly in: New Fun. In glorious colour.

12th December 2004 - Another strip by Kev Garnett, from SES #14: The Cartoonist.

25th October 2004 - Two strips for you this time round, both from SES #14. The Deep End, by Kev Garnett, and The Bugmonkey! Show by Jim McGee. There's also a new Banana Brothers story.

12th August 2004 - Square Eyed Stories #17 is out now; see here for info on how to get a copy. Here's the cover, and you can preview a couple of the strips: Extreme Sports! by Arthur Goodman, and Hair-Fly by Jim McGee. There's also a story featuring the Banana Brothers, in a somewhat unusual format...

6th June 2004 - Jim McGee says Happy Birthday Barfly, but for Bad Attitude Boy The End is Nigh. From SES #14.

10th May 2004 - A new look to the site, and some old strips. What's in a name? Bob knows. We also get a close look at a super-villain, as he tells us in his own words "I Am... Dr Skull". These stories are by David Goodman, from SES #14. Meanwhile Jim McGee shows us some Square Eyed Scribbles, from way back in SES #10. Let us know what you think of the show so far, won't you?

18th January 2004 - Whoops, long time no update. For the New Year we say Hello to Arthur Goodman, who'll be taking over as Editor of Square Eyed Stories, as well as continuing to be webmaster. Maybe he'll get his finger out and update more than once every 5 months. Check the front page for new ordering details. In the meantime, there's a new Team photo, of the last gathering of the SES crew for a long while, while Jim McGee brings us Bar Fly In: New Pals Old Jokes! and Shiho introduces Mickey and Karin. Finally, we say Goodbye to Jim McGee and Laura Watton, as they're off to Japanland to teach the locals to speak teh propa inglish like wot we duz. Au Revoir, chaps, we'll miss you. 21st September 2003 - Jonah Stevenson and David Goodman bring you Four Stupid Chief Stories.

7th August 2003 - Back from CAPTION 2003 with some Team Photos and a collaborative strip, Panic In The Year Zero. In other strips we have to offer this time round, Gatinho e Gatinha look through the 4th Wall, we invite you to Boogie On Down! in Eggtown, and the Catmonkeys want a balloon. It'll all end in tears...

12th June 2003 - The new issue of Square Eyed Stores, #16, is out now; see the main page for ordering information. In order to whet your appetite, you can see the front cover in the Cover Gallery, and there's a preview of two strips: Giddy The Goatboy in The Gift Horse, by Jim McGee, and Cynic The Hedgehog, by Nayyar Mughal and Laura Watton. In other news, Messrs Goodman and Goodman were at Comics 2003 in Bristol at the end of last month, selling copies of SES#16, as well as the various Zip Gun titles and other small press comics. A copy of SES16 was sold to Antony Johnston, the writer of such fine sequential narratives as Three Days in Europe, and Rosemary's Backpack (no small presser he; you may purchase these titles from the better variety of comic shop). You can see photographic proof in the Fans section. Good Day, Fine Sir.

28th April 2003 - Another Team picture, from a get together in Manchester earlier this month. And no less than four strips for you this month: Jim McGee brings us Ratstink, Squinky, Bonk & Pedal, and The Spoon Returns!. Meanwhile, in a Favourite Crayon Story by Arthur Goodman, Mel declares I Want My Own Gimp!. Don't we all?

22nd March 2003 - Three strips for you this time around: Goth Makeover, a Weird True Story from Laura Watton; Eggtown's Gary and Clint in Gamblor; and a Neko To Usagi No Konsen (or "cat vs. rabbit free-for-all") by David Goodman.

25th January 2003 - Jim McGee brings us Gapy The Spud, there's another Weird True Story from Laura Watton about Collector's Blues, and The Catmonkey's Don't Understand. There's also some photos from the CoLCC Open Evening last June. Note the new address on the front page, for all orders/correspondence.

1st December 2002 - Where's it at, Jackson? Here's what we've got for you at the end of the year. Arthur Goodman's Pan. David Goodman's Hieroglyph and Random Elements: Judges 14:14. Jim McGee's Shockboy, Nazi Aztec Mummies!, Big Bottomed Gorilla and Game! Over!, a website exclusive. Who loves ya, baby?

28th October 2002 - A second dose of Stuff from David Goodman, Jim McGee's Spoon, and (Oh, dear Bob...) another Catmonkey story.

17th September 2002 - A whole mob of stuff. Arthur Goodman tells us of the Ninja Stealth Bus, Jim McGee suffers from Pie Mites, and Dave Goodman has a bunch of Stuff. There's also Gastro Vs MechaGastro, the final Gastro story; there's no more Gastro after this. Thank Bob.

25th August 2002 - Square Eyed Stories #15 is out now! You can see the full colour cover, by Jim McGee, in the Cover Gallery. You can also see two strips from this issue: Arthur Goodman's Catmonkey Vs Catgirl, and Jim McGee's Giddy the Goat Boy. You can order SES #15 here.

12th August 2002 - Square Eyed Stories #15 will be out soon, and has a full colour cover - stay tuned for further developments! We have two stories by Arthur Goodman, both from SES #10. Gastro's back, fighting a new foe, in Gastro Vs Birdan. Elsewhere, The Catmonkeys Burn Things. Finally, we're off to CAPTION this weekend, for two days of small press comicery in Oxford.

21st July 2002 - Big ups, mad props, a shout out, or whatever it is the young people are doing these days, to SES editor Jim McGee, for graduating from Liverpool John Moores University, with a B.A. in Graphic Design. Jim has moved to sunny Birmingham, where he's joining the real world at last. Not that this will stop him from drawing comic strips and editing future issues of Square Eyed Stories. Also, this site is now a year old. Wooo, go us. Let us know how we're doing, okay? Meanwhile, Dr. Skull's pen is Missing. By David Goodman, in SES #10.

7th July 2002 - Tamara the Barbarienne finds a Sword In The Stone, as chronicled by David Goodman, in SES #10.

30th June 2002 - From SES #10 comes Super Funky Division X, by Jim McGee.

22nd June 2002 - Richie Woods finds himself Saving Private Brian, from SES #9.

8th June 2002 - It's only fair to tell you that this next strip, from SES#8, is not for the easily offended. I mean, the fact it's called Bad Attitude Boy Meets Turd Boy should be enough of a warning. You can blame Jim McGee for this.

26th May 2002 - Blink and you'll miss The Small Adventures of What and Where. By Jim McGee, in SES #6.

18th May 2002 - August 1942, and some German soldiers make an unusual discovery in Southern Russia, in Richie Wood's The Stand. From SES #6.

11th May 2002 - A bit of Sword and Sorcery for you this week, as we present David Goodman's Tamara The Barbarienne, from SES #6.

21st April 2002 - Square Eyed Stories #14 is out now, and available to order. By way of a preview, we have two strips from that issue: Laura Watton's Weird True Stories: Mystery Cup, and Jim McGee's Bad Attitude Boy in The End is Nigh. The cover to #14 can be seen in the Cover Gallery, so you know what to look for. The guest editor for this issue was Kevin Garnett.

13th April 2002 - Richie Woods brings us the trial of the century, and the astounding tale of Gorilla Leg Boy, as featured in SES#5.

7th April 2002 - The city is being destroyed! Who will save us?! Arthur Goodman tells all, in Gastro Vs Angkro. From SES#5.

23rd March 2002 - Wayne & Franco have an extraterrestrial encounter. By Iain Thomas, from SES #5.

17th March 2002 - The Ministry of Monsters are having A Hard Daze Night. By Jim McGee, from SES #5.

2nd March 2002 - Um... There's Nothing for you this week. Would it help if I told it was by David Goodman, from SES #5?

23rd February 2002 - Again from SES #5, A Shorter Piece About Nothing, by David Goodman.

9th February 2002 - This week's story is A Short Piece About Nothing. It's by David Goodman, and first appeared in SES #5.

2nd February 2002 - From SES #5, a story based on a real incident: Dead Bird, by Arthur Goodman (the artist knows the people it happened to).

27th January 2002 -This week sees The Couch Dwellers, in Mello Couch Machine, by Jim McGee. The Couch Dwellers were the signature characters for the early SES issues, and SES #4 saw them hopping around, crossing the boundaries of time, space, and genre.

19th January 2002 - Exeunt, by Richard Woods, from SES #3.

12th January 2002 - From SES#3, a story by Jim McGee and Iain Thomas; The Mighty Ministry of Monsters: Mission IMPoster.

6th January 2002 - Welcome back, to a brand new year, and more old strips. This week's old strip comes from SES #2 and, well, it's about a group of people who are fantastic. Also a few minor tweaks.

22nd December 2001 - To tide you over Christmas and New Year, we have a couple of new Strips: The Mighty Ministry Of Monsters: The 39" Steps, part 2, from SES #2, and Carols' Christmas from SES#7. We've also found a few more pictures from AnimeCon 2001, and of some of our Fans. Have a Happy Christmas, and see you in the New Year.

16th December 2001 - Presenting another old strip from SES #1, The Mighty Ministry Of Monsters: The 39" Steps, part 1.

9th December 2001 - A blast from the past with a new strip: Peter Perker from SES #1. We're going to start putting old strips online, now the older issues are out of print.

11th November 2001 - New strip: Guess What? from SES #13.

3rd November 2001 - New Covers: the front and back covers for SES #9 and SES #10. New Links added.

21st October 2001 - A couple of new Small Press Reviews: Attic, and Revolution Baby.

13th October 2001 - New sections: Events, which is places we've been to, selling Square Eyed Stories; Team, where you can find out about the people who put this comic together; and Fans, some of the people who are buying SES. Following succesful sales at AnimeCon 2001, in Liverpool, SES #11 and #12 are now out of print. SES #13 is currently out of stock, but we are going to reprint it. SES #14 is currently in the works. A couple of new Links added.

4th August 2001 - Reviews section added, with two reviews: Hardly the Hog, and BioMecha. Arthur and David Goodman will be going to CAPTION, the UK small press convention, on the 18th-19th of August, in Oxford, and will be bringing copies of Square Eyed Stories to sell.

23rd July 2001 - Site Launched; tell us what you think. The Comic Strips section has a preview of three strips from #13, which we're getting ready to print. Copies of SES #11 and SES #12 are still available to order. You can see the covers of SES issues 10 to 13 in the Cover Gallery.
